    Interface UngroupedVendoredTags

The tags that this library synthesizes and always returns under bare (unprefixed) keys, even when ExifToolOptions.groupNames is enabled: everything from ExifToolVendoredTags, the SourceFile, and the parsed, validated, sign-corrected GPS quartet.

Everything else in GroupedTags is keyed by Group:TagName, verbatim from ExifTool's -G output (except that the group-prefixed GPS tags also carry the library's validated sign-corrected values, and all GPS tags are omitted when the position is invalid).

    Index
    errors?: string[]

This is a list of all critical errors raised by ExifTool during the read process.

    GPSLatitude?: number
    GPSLatitudeRef?: string
    GPSLongitude?: number
    GPSLongitudeRef?: string
    invalidUtf8Bytes?: InvalidUtf8Bytes

Original bytes for metadata strings that contained malformed UTF-8.

This sparse object mirrors the returned tag paths. It is absent when all strings were valid UTF-8 or when a custom ExifTool Filter handled them. Each damaged string is a Uint8Array leaf; narrow a dynamic lookup with value instanceof Uint8Array before decoding it.

    SourceFile?: string
    tz?: string

Either an offset, like UTC-7, or an actual IANA timezone, like America/Los_Angeles.

This will be missing if we can't intuit a timezone from the metadata.

    use zone instead

    tzSource?: string

Description of where and how tz was extracted

    use zoneSource instead

    warnings?: string[]

This is a list of all non-critical errors raised by ExifTool during the read process.

Invalid field values are considered warnings and not errors, for example.

    zone?: string

The IANA timezone, like America/Los_Angeles, or a IANA-rendered static offset, like UTC-7.

This will be missing if we can't intuit a timezone from the metadata.

    zoneSource?: string

Description of where and how zone was extracted
